How can I record a consultant's termination?

You can record the termination of a consultant on your team’s overview page. In order to record the termination, you’ll need to have the departing consultant sign a termination certification. Startup attorneys typically recommend that departing consultants sign termination certifications to help protect company IP. The CIIA agreement in our Hiring products requires consultants to sign a termination certification upon termination.

To get started:

Click Teams in the main navigation bar.

Select the team for the company that the consultant worked for.

Click Overview in the sub-navigation bar to open the team overview page.

Click the Consultants tile.

Click the More (···) menu for the consultant whose termination you want to record and select Terminate.

Click Start Paperwork.

Click Start Document Set and then fill out the required information for the document set.
