How long does it take to open a bank account?

It can take as little as 1 business day to open a bank account when you apply through Clerky's ecosystem of banking platforms. That said, processing time may take up to 3 to 5 business days or longer, depending on the banking platform and your startup's circumstances.

Most banking platforms also require startups to have completed certain prerequisites before they can open an account. Incomplete prerequisites could potentially delay the process for your startup. Whether your startup is approved for an account and how long the process takes depends on the banking platform (unfortunately, Clerky has no control over this).
